Technology & Innovation
We effectively use technology and innovation to actively protect the environment and climate.

We work on using technology to pursue our environmental goals. For future generations.

We are committed to the continuous development of our products and processes, focusing on sustainability, efficiency and future viability. In line with the 'design for circularity' approach, we consider the entire product life cycle from the outset. Modern manufacturing technologies combine ecological advantages with high quality. Our production processes are continually optimised to minimise resource use and energy consumption. At our company, innovation, customer focus and environmental responsibility go hand in hand to create smart solutions with real added value.

Environment & Climate
We view the environment as our habitat and the global climate as a whole, recognising our opportunities for action.

We work on using resource-saving recycling and energy management to protect the environment. For future generations.

Together with our partners, we are committed to creating a sustainable circular economy by recovering products at the end of their lifecycle and using recycled materials. We are expanding environmentally friendly energy sources and making use of renewable energies in a way that is both economically and ecologically sensible. In line with our guiding principle of 'Don't waste anything, reuse everything!', we design resource-saving processes, increase their efficiency and minimise emissions. Alternative mobility concepts complement our commitment to holistic environmental protection.

Employees & Training
Individuals with expertise and character form our company.

We work on supporting and challenging our employees in the right balance. For future generations.

We promote individual strengths and create opportunities for personal growth through training, further education and global development. Lifelong learning and targeted support are important to us. Rather than just imparting knowledge, we apply it directly in on-the-job training. We support our employees with flexible working time models and childcare options. Cultural openness, equality and inclusion are integral to our corporate culture because we believe that only in a respectful and diverse environment can people fulfil their potential and achieve great things together.

Partnership & Corporate Culture
We live partnership within our company and beyond.

We work on bearing social responsibility in all partnerships. For future generations.

We take responsibility for our employees and for the social environment at our locations. Whether through providing individual support or committing to regional institutions, we demonstrate our commitment to solidarity in action. Our corporate culture is characterised by trust, reliability and communication on equal terms. We value long-term relationships with customers and suppliers, and transparent, socially responsible supply chains. Genuine partnership is based on mutual respect and shared values.

Successful EMAS implementation at BWF Tec GmbH & Co. KG
Our commitment to the environment and sustainability

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully implemented the EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) environmental management system at our BWF Tec GmbH & Co. KG locations in Offingen, Ahlen, Meerbusch and Hof. This validation demonstrates our commitment to environmental responsibility, social accountability and the well-being of future generations.

EMAS is the most demanding environmental management system in the European Union, combining the requirements of the international ISO 14001 standard with additional elements such as transparency, employee participation, and the continuous improvement of environmental performance.

Our goals with EMAS:

  • Embedding sustainability: We continuously record, evaluate and optimise our environmental impacts and aspects.
  • Creating transparency: We regularly document our environmental performance in a publicly available environmental statement.
  • Actively involving employees: The success of EMAS is based on the commitment and ideas of our entire team.
  • Ensuring legal compliance: We comply with all applicable environmental regulations and often go even further.

What will this mean for our customers, partners and society?

EMAS strengthens trust in our company through measurable environmental performance, transparent communication and responsible actions. This is another step towards reducing our ecological footprint and actively shaping sustainable solutions.

We are staying on track. For us, EMAS validation is not an end point, but rather an incentive. In the future, we will continue to improve our processes, use resources efficiently, and pursue innovative ways to protect the environment.
