- full-surface one-sided coatings, foams, e.g. spark blockers, B1/B2, superabsorbers, anti-slip finish, adhesive coating, one-sided flame-retardant
- surface treatments, e.g. singeing, calendering, pressing
- laminated with self-adhesive foil
