Vocational Training “Motivation Day” - BWF Protec introduces itself to school students
There was plenty to discover for school students from Hof and the surrounding area at the so called Motivation Day held at the Freiheitshalle in Hof on May 21, 2025.
What is needle felt? How is needle felt manufactured? What are the specific requirements for car wash felts, for example?
The BWF Protec team answered all these questions at the “Motivation Day”.
And not just in theory, but also in practice. For example, our colleagues brought along a miniature version of a needle board to demonstrate the needling process, including a corresponding needle felt. We also provided an insight into the quality testing of a so-called car wash felt, which is used in textile car washes, namely the washing test and the bending stiffness. The students were able to try everything out for themselves using practical examples.
For us, it was the perfect opportunity to introduce ourselves to our potential future employees and to advertise the start of training in fall 2026.
The program was rounded off by presentations and an evening program for parents and anyone else who was interested.
All in all, it was a great event organized by the partnership SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Hochfranken (School and Companies)!
