Solutions for all modes of transport
Mobility is the future - which is why we are active in this sector with three of our four divisions. In the automotive sector, we supply customised plastic profiles from BWF Profiles - from the engine compartment to exterior trim - as well as technical needle felts from BWF Protec for insulation and rattle suppression, and thermoformed parts from BWF Thermoforms. In public transport, fire-resistant materials (BWF FireGuard and Fireblocker from BWF Protec), plastic cladding parts and lighting covers from BWF Profiles, and technical felts from HEY-SIGN by BWF Group ensure safety and functionality. Our products are also used in the aviation sector, for example in seats, interior lighting and interior trim.

Lighting
Lighting for interior and exterior use
With numerous renowned clients in the lighting industry, we present your application in the best light. For interior lighting, BWF Profiles and BWF Thermoforms supply plastic profiles, tubes, sheets, optical foils and thermoformed parts - for example in offices, industrial halls, hospitals and greenhouses. HEY‑SIGN by BWF Group offers felt luminaires that combine lighting with sound insulation and pollutant absorption. For exterior lighting, we use particularly weather‑resistant plastic profiles, for instance for car parks and streets, stadiums and petrol stations.
Filtration & Environment
Filtration and environmental equipment
A clean and healthy environment concerns us all. In filtration, BWF Envirotec has manufactured specialised filter media for the manufacturing industry since 1968, complemented by felt tubes from BWF Protec used as filter cartridges. In dedusting, we supply companies worldwide with filters for dust and exhaust‑gas filtration - providing everything from production and assembly to maintenance and service, all from a single source. For pollutant absorption, wool‑felt products from HEY‑SIGN by BWF Group, made from 100 per cent pure new wool and which can bind certain pollutants such as formaldehyde, are particularly effective.
Health & Medical
Various solutions for the health sector
In health, we leverage cross‑divisional synergies. In medical engineering, you will find plastic housings from BWF Thermoforms, special felts from BWF Protec, wool felt from HEY‑SIGN by BWF Group (for example for medical insoles), and plastic profiles from BWF Profiles in hospital lighting. In hygiene, we supply antibacterial felts, hygiene screens (BWF Safety Guard), nonwoven fabrics for surgical use, technical felts that provide lasting antibacterial protection on hygiene‑critical surfaces, and room‑air filters from BWF Envirotec for operating theatres and cleanrooms.
Heat & Safety
High temperatures, protective equipment, flood protection
Safety should never be optional. For high‑temperature applications, BWF Envirotec manufactures high‑quality filters, complemented by heat‑resistant felt insulation, belts and rollers made from special felts by BWF Protec for transport systems - for example in the aluminium extrusion and glass industries. For protective equipment, BWF Protec needle felt is well‑suited thanks to its natural properties and resilience, for use, for example, as inner linings in firefighter and racing suits, and in body armour vests. In fire protection, Fireblocker felts and plastic components made from flame‑retardant materials comply with current regulations. For occupational safety, we supply certified fine‑dust filters from BWF Envirotec as well as needle felt from BWF Protec for protective clothing. For flood protection, we offer the new BWF floodGUARD - a mobile flood‑protection system featuring a tool‑free interlocking design, made from robust plastics by BWF Thermoforms.
Design & Fashion
High‑quality felts and plastics
Technical expertise and a feel for design need not be mutually exclusive. In decoration and lifestyle, high‑quality HEY‑SIGN LIVING wool‑felt products embody timeless design “Made in Germany”. For the interiors and furniture industry, we supply creative wall coverings made from wool felt, as well as plastic products from BWF Profiles - for example for kitchen interiors, cabinets and desks. In fashion, undercollar felt from HEY‑SIGN by BWF Group ensures a perfect fit for jackets. For presentation and sales, we offer customised plastic profiles and housings for use as stands and cosmetics displays, or integrated into shopping trolleys. Sound‑absorbing partition and wall‑covering felts from HEY‑SIGN by BWF Group round off the range.
