Michael Kasper takes over the management at the turn of the year

With Kasper, BWF Profiles gains an experienced manager. Over the past 25 years he has gained extensive professional and management experience. His extensive knowledge of sales, production, purchasing and international management, as well as his leadership skills, make him the ideal candidate for this position.

Professional background and motivation

Michael Kasper has had an exciting career in industry. After studying production engineering and completing an MBA, he spent six years in the automotive industry, specialising in purchasing and production planning, followed by seven years in the electrical distribution industry, where he held his first management positions. Most recently, he worked for over 11 years at the medium-sized family business ZwickRoell, where he held extensive responsibility as Head of After Sales and authorised signatory.

What brought him to BWF Profiles?

"The challenge of building something up over a longer period of time appealed to me," explains Kasper. He was particularly impressed by the company's international focus, its growth targets and the open atmosphere of the discussions with the previous managers. “I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and get closer to the production and materials process without losing sight of sales.”

Looking to the future

Kasper's ambitious 'Profiles 2028' project is designed to lead the company into a dynamic future. The action plan, which focuses on growth, process optimisation and internationalisation, remains a central element of the strategic direction in the new year. The continued implementation of this project is essential for the future development of the division:
