Production expansion at BWF Protec
A commitment from the BWF Group to the Hof location
Since March 2019, BWF Protec has been building a production extension and a new social and technical building at its Hof site.
Since the last production expansion in 2015, business at BWF Protec has developed very well. Both sales and production volume increased significantly.
Due to these positive developments, BWF Protec has already reached the limits of its capacity in the current production hall. A 3,000 m² production extension and an additional technical and social building have therefore been under construction since March 2019. Investments in new technologies are planned for 2020. As a result, up to 20 additional jobs will be created over the next few years.
The ground-breaking ceremony took place on 26 March 2019: Stefan Müller (Mayor of the municipality of Gattendorf), Thomas Hilligardt (COO of the BWF Group), Gunter Schleicher (Technical Manager), Maximilian Offermann and Philipp von Waldenfels (Managing Partner of the BWF Group), District Administrator Dr. Oliver Bär, Dr. Harald Fichtner (Mayor of the City of Hof), Alexander Klotz (Head of the BWF Protec Division) and Hans-Jürgen Wittig (Wittig architectural firm).
