DFB Referee of the Year 2024 visits the BWF Group
What does leadership have to do with professional soccer? Quite a lot, as we learned in an exciting keynote speech by top referee, entrepreneur and leadership personality Deniz Aytekin.
At the BWF Group, we regularly address the question of how good leadership can be achieved today, especially in challenging situations. In an authentic, humorous, varied and scientifically sound way, Deniz Aytekin explained how refereeing situations in professional soccer can be compared to business decisions in a medium-sized company. He gave us a lot of food for thought and inspiration for our daily work as managers or project leaders. How do you make decisions under pressure? How do you build trust and acceptance in a team? And what role does communication play in this?
The change of perspective showed us that there are impressive strategies outside of the traditional corporate world that we can learn from.
