Our employees have already been dining in our company restaurant for one year
Hard to believe, but it has already been one year since we formally opened our company restaurant Johann's. The joy our employees have found in the tasty food and the feel-good atmosphere at Johann's is unabated. But let's take a quick look back to 2017, when it all began...
How it all began
In 2017, the BWF Group decided to invest heavily in the conversion and redesign of the "Kameradschaftshaus", which was built in 1939 and houses our new company restaurant "Johann's". It is not only love that goes through the stomach, one's general well-being also depends on what and which quality one eats. From the very beginning, it was important to us that tradition be preserved during the conversion, combined with modern and contemporary architecture and function.
Feel good...
...that's what all employees from our four divisions and our guests should be able to do in the renovated "Kameradschaftshaus", as well as making contacts across divisions with good, balanced, fresh food.
Johann's is managed very successfully by the company gastromenü GmbH, Ulm, also a family business. The overall concept from gastromenü is harmonious for the BWF Group and its employees, it is contemporary and comes from the heart.
How did Johann's get his name?
A name competition was held among the employees. Out of 243 creative suggestions, the name Johann's was chosen. The name refers to the royal commercial councillor Johann Offermann, who was managing partner of the Offingen felt factory from 1912.
What do our employees say about Johann's today?
In April we conducted a survey with great results. We are very happy about this and want to continue to work on this successful concept without compromise, so that our employees' joy at Johann's will be maintained for a long time to come.
