- Water-repellent / dirt-repellent
The use of dirt- and water-repellent aids based in natural substances creates a beading effect. - Fastness to perspiration
Selected HIGH-TECH dyes make our materials sweat resistant - a property we test in our quality laboratory on the basis of synthetic perspiration solutions according to DIN EN ISO 105-E04. - Lightfast (non-fade)
Our materials frequent use in window display decorations makes a high degree of lightfastness a must. Testing is carried out under continuous exposure according to DIN 105-B02. - Tarnish protection (AS III)
When used as a lining for cutlery or coin boxes, it is possible to equip the felt with a tarnish protection in order to bind discolouring air components. - Humidity protection
This finishing helps to kill fungi or their spores, and/or to prevent their growth for the duration of its effectiveness, guaranteeing the product's longevity.
Flame retardant for interior design
In the field of interior design and in public buildings, a classification according to DIN EN 13501-1 is often a basic requirement. We ensure the appropriate finishing. The following materials are available in classification B-s2,d0 and C-s2,d0:

- Low shrinkage
In order to avoid the "shrinkage" typical of felts during steam treatment, upon request our materials can also be finished for low shrinkage, in accordance with DIN 53894 T.2. - Moth-proof
To ensure our wool felt's longevity, the material can also be equipped with moth-resistant protection as required. - Non-slip
We can equip the felt with an anti-slip coating for use as a substrate, or in any case where the material should not slip. - Saliva resistant
Most of our high-quality felts are suitable for use in children's toys. We test for resistance to saliva in our quality laboratory according to DIN 53160. - Anti-bacterial
For the medical field, we are capable of equipping the felts with an anti-bacterial finish for customers. - Stiffened
Just in time for the carnival season, e.g. for masquerade parties, our materials can also be stiffened.
